Dual-Credit
In addition to our Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors courses, Xavier students are able to advance their educational experience and prepare for their future higher educational aspirations through enrollment in Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment (DC/DE).

EARLY COLLEGE & DUAL CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES
- Academic – Designed primarily to apply bachelor’s degrees, Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degrees
- Foreign Language
- Workforce (Career & Technical Education) – designed to allow students to enroll in LSC credit workforce program while working towards obtaining an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or certificate
While enrolled in DC/EC courses, students are paired with a Xavier teacher who will act as an advisor. This helps students with the transition to collegiate learning.
HOW WE SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS

RESPECT
Middle school is a critical moment in every student’s journey, and Xavier’s individualized approach is often a perfect fit for students as they make the transition from elementary school to high school. We provide each student with a safe space to learn and develop their academic skills and habits.

HIGH SCHOOL
Our high school programming continues to build on the independent foundation from our elementary and middle-school courses and prepares students for college life. We give our students the chance to get involved in the community through various volunteer opportunities and learn more about non-academic, “real world” topics such as nutrition and wellness.

CURRICULUM
Xavier Academy offers an abundance of courses necessary to matriculate to higher levels of education. Our faculty and coursework meets and exceeds state requirements and the top academic institutions across the city and state. We follow the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) curriculum in addition to offering courses in response to our student body’s unique needs.
